I began seeing Dr. Damien Richardson after rupturing my Achilles tendon last year. He offered an extremely balanced assessment of my options — to have surgery or proceed with non-operative recovery — and answered the many questions I had with patience and understanding. He never pushed me towards having surgery and emphasized that I should proceed with the treatment I was most comfortable with. 6 months later on his non-operative treatment plan I am recovering very well! Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Dr. Richardson did an incredible job on the surgical repair of my bimalleolar break. After my break, he could fit me in for surgery right away even though I wasn’t a previous patient for him, and he was incredibly efficient but thorough in treating me and making sure I understood all the components of surgery and recovery. The most amazing thing is how good of a job he did— my recovery was even a bit ahead of schedule. His team is also wonderful, and were available to help over the phone with answering my questions post surgery and helping me to get a new splint when I was having issues. Thanks Dr. Richardson!

Dr Richardson is a fantastic doctor. I had severe plantar plate ligament tear that my podiatrist stated was in need of surgical repair. I went to an orthopedic surgeon that wasn’t confident in the repair and expected results. When I mentioned my experience to another doctor friend he strongly suggested that I find a different doctor. So I solicited a referral from an orthopedic surgeon at UCLA and they recommended Dr Richardson. My first impression was very positive. Dr Richardson has fantastic chair side manner, and exhibited tremendous experience and insight to the problem and the solution. The surgery went smoothly and the recovery has progressed exactly as expected. I would highly recommend Dr Richardson.

I had a horrible ankle break and I was given the runaround by numerous medical doctors on the unavailability to see me promptly. Dr Richardson’s office was able to get me in. He performed the necessary surgery with great confidence and assurance. My recovery is ahead of schedule.

My experience with Dr. Richardson was top tier. I tore my Achilles October. thinking it was just a bad "sprain" I continued to "walk"/ hobble on it for 6 weeks before seeing Dr. Richardson. On the 7th week, I saw him and by the following week I was in surgery. He walked me thru the procedure, he made sure I understood and he was honest with me the entire time. The surgery went off with out any complications. He did excellent work. AND IM NOT JUST SAYING THAT. 6 months post surgery, i am able to do a "single leg calf raise" supporting my entire body. I am able to do far more athletic movements as well. Dr. Richardson is top notch. His program works and he truly cares about his patients and loves what he does.
